Giggles

The girls are all doing great.  They slept through the night last night, from 8pm to almost 8am, with one binky replacement.  I'm so proud of them!  We all needed the sleep.

For reasons that escape me, Hannah and Fiona now giggle when you stretch their legs.  It's really cute, so we couldn't help but try to catch it on video.

Movie time

A couple of quick videos, mostly of Maya and her verbal skills.  The first is a video of Jay talking to Maya, as well as our puppy Bella saying hello to Hannah and Fiona.

And here's a video of Maya in her swing, talking to her hands.  They don't always cooperate and follow her instructions.

5 months old!

Happy 5 months to Maya, Hannah, and Fiona!

Not much to report, the girls are all drooling a lot and blowing nice spit bubbles.

Our new au pair, Kathleen, brought the girls some amazing hand-made outfits from her grandmother in Germany.  Here's a photo of the girls in their sweaters and hats- there are also matching mittens, scarves, and socks.

Can you believe in one month, they'll be a half a year old?

Rolling babies

We have 2 rollers!  Yesterday, Hannah rolled from her tummy to her back.  I didn't manage to catch it on video, but today Maya did it a couple of times, and I managed to catch it.  So far, Fiona just wants to giggle at the blanket instead of rolling over, but I'm sure she'll figure it out sooner or later.

Babies in green

Maya, Hannah, and Fiona are all doing great.  Last week, they had their 4 month pediatrician check-up.

Maya was 9 pounds, 12 ounces, and 22 1/4 inches long.

Fiona was 9 pounds, 12 ounces, and 22 inches long.

Hannah was 10 pounds, 12 ounces, and 23 inches long.

Tonight, they had a bath in their big girl tub and are sparkly clean and sleeping soundly.
